Tom Cruise faces another setback on the set of the upcoming Mission: Impossible. The cameras were turned off in the UK for two weeks, according to Deadline sources, as fewer than 14 COVID tests conducted by the team have tested positive.
All those affected by the virus were isolated at home.
“We have temporarily suspended production of Mission Impossible 7 until June 14 due to positive routine coronavirus testing,” a Paramount spokesman said. We comply with all security protocols and will continue to monitor the situation. “
It is unclear if the actor is among those directly affected by the virus.
Last December, an audio footage leaked to the media of Tom Cruise scolding his crew members for violating COVID’s strict safety regulations and risking the health of everyone on set.
The film is still scheduled for release at the end of May 2022.
