As you probably know, 2021 is an important year for Xbox. This year the Seattle brand celebrates its 20th anniversary. Indeed, it was on November 15, 2001 that the very first Xbox was launched in North America. To celebrate the passage of time and celebrate this date as it should be, the brand is starting the celebrations today. First, it’s a video that looks back on the different console launches offered to us in the last Wire article:
Halo, Gears, Forza, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, etc. These twenty years have been marked by many highlights. From SD to HD with the Xbox 360, then to Full HD with the Xbox One and finally to 4K on the Xbox Series X, the gaming experience will also have evolved a lot. However, it’s not just the consoles. Xbox will also have been talked about through innovative experiences such as Xbox Live, the Kinect or, more recently, the Xbox Adaptive Controller. What started out as solo play at home has grown into a community of 100 million players who log in every month.
While this is an important date for Xbox, so is the flagship license. Halo. Also celebrating its twentieth anniversary, we learn in the article that a limited edition clothing line will be offered for the occasion. Moreover, you can already access it on the Xbox Gear Shop.
