7 games to buy for the PlayStation 5

Are you one of the lucky few who managed to buy a PlayStation 5 and wondering which games you should buy first? You fell well!

It’s no secret, but it usually takes two or three years for studios to fully master the new generations of consoles. This does not mean, however, that the titles that come out before this period are completely uninteresting.

In fact, if the PlayStation 5 is still fairly recent, it can still count on a few titles that stand out from the crowd.

This selection is mainly personal. It therefore does not claim to be fully exhaustive. You are therefore free to complete it through the comments.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

It is curiously the first title that I bought for the new gen, a title that benefits from an extremely careful realization and a captivating story, but also a lot of interesting gameplay elements.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes all the ingredients specific to the franchise, this time propelling the player to the era of the Vikings.

It allows us to embody a man or a woman born in a small village lost in the north, a man or a woman who will witness the death of his father and who will do everything to avenge him.

And not only. The title also takes us to the conquest of England and it will even place us in command of a colony that we can manage and make prosper as we see fit. All with a solid lifespan and a truly huge card.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

I’m going to tell you a secret. Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is the very first installment of the franchise that I played.

I was indeed never attracted by the people of the previous opus, which had pushed me to completely ignore it. It is therefore with some trepidation that I immersed myself in this aspect.

And he only needed a few hours to dispel all my doubts. Ultra nervous gameplay, graphics to die for, extremely fluid animations, a captivating story, it has a lot of assets to seduce and it will undoubtedly end up being a staple in the library of the PS5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Each console has its Call of Duty. And in this area, of course, the PlayStation 5 has nothing to envy its competitors.

If you like the genre, you can therefore turn to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War which will plunge you into the 80s and therefore in the heart of the Cold War. After receiving information on a Perseus-based Soviet agent, the CIA will indeed set up a team to track him down. Team you will be part of.

But it is of course its multiplayer mode that makes all the difference.

Control Ultimate Edition

Control Ultimate Edition is clearly not a game for everyone. It is quite quirky and it is mainly aimed at those who have developed a real passion for fantastic and quirky adventure games.

The story indeed places you in the shoes of Jessie Faden, who will become by an unfortunate combination of circumstances the director of the FBC, for Federal Bureau of Control. An office that is plagued by a strange threat that you will have to fight … by relying on paranormal powers that you will have to learn to master.

An extraordinary title which benefits from an extremely rich and complex history.

Demon’s Souls

Another title not to be put in everyone’s hands. This PS5 exclusive is actually the new adaptation of the title from 2009.

And precisely, just like the latter, its main particularity is its difficulty. Demon’s Souls is not easily tamed and you will therefore have to compete in ingenuity to overcome the various battles in the game.

Now, the achievement is just mind blowing and it will definitely blow your mind.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales

If it is a bit short, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales remains cleanly remarkable. A very rhythmic action, a wide range of moves, costumes galore, the possibility of making your character evolve as you wish, completely crazy graphics, he really has it all.

Especially since it allows us to embody one of the best superheroes of all time. After that, it must be recognized that certain missions sometimes tend to be a bit repetitive. But despite this slight caveat, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales is clearly a title that deserves its place in your library.

Resident Evil Village

The Resident Evil franchise is a bit like fine wine, it gets better over time. And after a truly remarkable seventh episode, the studio has graced us with a new one-of-a-kind episode.

Resident Evil Village takes place shortly after the seventh episode and it once again focuses on the character of Ethan. While the latter seeks to find his daughter, he finds himself in a village populated by evil creatures.

And it works well, you can imagine. A little too good indeed. Resident Evil Village may give you some scares.

And you, then, what is the title that has marked you the most on the PlayStation 5 so far? The one you wouldn’t want to miss out on?
