About fifty residents evacuated after a gas leak in the center of Calais

VSAt around 8:00 pm on Tuesday, about fifty residents of 4-Coins Street, according to Calais firefighters, were evacuated from their homes. At the corner with Rue Monsignor Piedfort, Rue 4-Monet was completely closed. In the courtyard of the residence are parked the inhabitants of an old lace factory renovated into a building. At around 8:30 pm, a GRDF agent was able to repair the leak. Movement resumed shortly thereafter and residents were able to return to their homes without any other notorious incident.
