The New Orleans Saints could already be in danger from COVID-19.

Eight members of the organization were diagnosed positive for COVID-19, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed Tuesday. The game scheduled for next Sunday against the Carolina Panthers could already be compromised.

In total, six offensive unit coaches, a player and a nutritionist were reported to have tested positive.

The Saints just won their first game of the season convincingly ahead of the Green Bay Packers by a score of 38-3. They are due to appear at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Sunday.

The Saints do not evolve in New Orleans after Hurricane Ida. They occupy the TCU training center in Texas.

Head coach Sean Payton said this summer that all coaches and staff received their two doses of the vaccine.
