AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.7.1 Drivers – Drivers

AMD is offering new Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.7.1 drivers. There are many additions on the agenda, such as support for version 22H2 of Windows 11, new SDKs and Vulkan, VRS for Elden Ring, Resident Evil Village and VALORANT. These newcomers are also bringing noise reduction technology (based on a deep learning related algorithm, but this technology is compatible with Ryzen 5000 processors and RX 6000 graphics cards) as well as optimizations related to the OpenGL API, with the promise of significant revenues in the Minecraft game.

  • Up to 75% performance improvement in Minecraft @ 4k Fabulous settings when using Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.7.1 on Radeon️ RX 6400 compared to previous 22.6.1 RS-495 driver software.

Radeon Super Resolution Extended support for discrete Radeon RX 5000 and 6000 series GPUs on AMD Ryzen APU laptops. RSR has been improved to provide a smoother borderless fullscreen experience with a performance/quality slider to personalize your gaming experience.

Issues fixed

  • Lower than expected [email protected] compute performance using the OpenCL API on select AMD graphics products such as the Radeon RX 6800.
  • Auto Undervolt can disable the Zero RPM fan function.
  • Hitman 3 may freeze when quickly switching between windows in full screen exclusive mode.
  • Video scaling in browsers looks blurry with some AMD graphics products such as the Radeon RX 6900 XT Graphics.
  • Extended sync may cause games to freeze up to 15 frames per second when playing video on extended monitors.
