A lawyer who brags about his vaccine opponent on social media surprises his peers to the point that IN Newspaper it became known that some of them had lodged a complaint against her with the Barreau du Québec.
Me Glorian Blays, a lawyer at Lac-Mégantic, has been practicing independently for over 20 years. Last December, the lawyer was seen at an anti-vaccination demonstration, where she was fined.
Now she is back in the news with controversial Facebook posts. In them, the lawyer explicitly asks governments to “suspend experimental COVID-19 injections.”
“You made your first injection [contre la COVID-19]? You will be able to forgive yourself. But here it is important to ask yourself a question about yourself quickly enough to protect our children, ”says M.e Blays in a video urging Quebec residents to stop vaccinating.
Appealed to four lawyers IN Newspaper, this post on his Facebook page is a straw that broke a camel’s back. Each for their part, after watching this video, they immediately filed a complaint against Glorian Blays.

“We just hope the Bar moves quickly and doesn’t end up in a black hole. […] This clearly violates our Code of Ethics, with its pseudo-legal opinions on Facebook, which run counter to science and government, ”shout loudly these lawyers, who prefer to maintain their identity for fear of reprisals.

For its part, Barreau du Québec states that it cannot “comment on the particular situation of a member or the opinions he expresses in the public sphere”.
Newspaper it was also revealed that Glorian Blays is now the subject of a disciplinary complaint filed last month by Syndic for “failure to comply with its duty to support the courts.”

However, this complaint is confidential. Therefore, it is not yet possible to find out if this is due to the lawyer’s controversial comments on social networks. In addition, a date has not yet been set for his hearing before the Disciplinary Council.
“You’ve been brainwashed”
We were contacted by our representative Me Glorian Blays says the disciplinary complaint has nothing to do with her comments about vaccines or COVID-19.
“I understand that society has been brainwashed. At some point, you need to learn how to ask questions. […] I will not make any further comments. You’ve been brainwashed yourself, ”the lawyer exploded before quickly hanging up.
Professor of Ethics École du Barreau du Québec, Mr.e Michel Tetro states that the behavior of Me Blays is more likely to shame the profession.
“I see that his comments on Facebook go especially against the honor and dignity of lawyers. There is an article in the Code of Ethics prohibiting this. Telling people not to get vaccinated with a more or less firm legal opinion that is likely to go into that, ”he concludes.
