The April 20 keynote was full of announcements. Apple unveiled the new iPad Pro with its Mini-LED screen (only on the 12.9-inch model), Thunderbolt connectivity and 5G. We also discovered the 24-inch iMac, a new version of the Apple TV 4K and AirTags. Still, all these new features are still pending, Apple having simply indicated a launch for the second half of May.
A few more weeks of patience
However, we know a little more today. Blogger Jon Prosser, usually well informed on the subject, mentions the date of May 21. Information confirmed by a Business Insider reporter who noticed in the metadata of Apple’s press release the same date.
The code has since been corrected, but it said: “The all-new iMac, iPad Pro, Apple TV 4K, purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, and AirTag arrive in stores and on doorsteps around the world May 21“. If this is the case, there are only three short weeks to wait before being able to get your hands on these novelties.
