We’ve had a lot of software updates from Apple this week, the latest being HomePod Software 15.4 for Apple HomePod and tvOS 15.4 for Apple TV.
These updates complement iOS 15.4 for iPhone, watchOS 8.5 for other Apple Watches, iPadOS 15.4 for iPad, and macOS Monterey 12.3 for Mac.
The new tvOS 15.4 software update brings Captive Wi-Fi support for Apple TV, allowing you to use your iPhone or iPad to connect to your Apple TV on networks that require extra steps like a hotel room, etc.
The latest version of Apple’s tvOS also has several other minor new features, as well as a number of performance improvements and bug fixes. This update can be downloaded from the Settings menu on your Apple TV.
The HomePod 15.4 software also has the same Wi-Fi feature, which makes it easy to connect to networks that require additional steps to sign in.
Siri now also supports voice recognition for Dutch in Belgium and the Netherlands, and French in Belgium. This software update also includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements for the Apple HomePod.
The HomePod 15.4 software update is now available to download from the Home app on your iPhone.
