Apple Watch Ultra is tested for durability (video)

The Apple Watch Ultra is significantly more durable than the standard Apple Watch, with a titanium case and a sapphire crystal display.

Now we can find out just how durable the new Apple Watch is, in a video from TechRax, the phone goes through a series of durability tests.

As you can see from the video, the new rugged Apple Watch easily passed the drop test, as well as the test with a can of screws with minor damage.

The sapphire crystal display on this new Apple Watch appears to be durable, as it showed no signs of damage in the first two tests.

I’m very surprised it lasted this long when hit with a big hammer, the device is obviously as strong and durable as Apple claims and should be suitable for everyday use in a variety of extreme environments.

We see the Apple Watch Ultra becoming a goto device for extreme sports enthusiasts, the device is certainly reliable and comes with some great features.

The new Apple Watch went on sale last week and the device retails for $799 in the US and £849 in the UK and is now available at Apple retail stores and the Apple website.
