iOS 16 will roll out a new feature to automatically blur nude photos. This system is already available in the US and should be available in France soon.
Automatic detection of nude photos
This option is primarily for parents as you need to create a family group in iCloud and then add a child’s account for it to be available.
If this option adds a layer of prevention by blurring the photo, it won’t prevent the iPhone user from accessing it if they so desire, as there will be a “View Photo” button just below. However, Apple has provided a page for educating kids, who also have the option to send a message to their parents when they receive a nude photo (or nude in English).
Apple indicates that this feature will only be available in iOS 16. Therefore, it will be necessary to ensure that the relevant devices are updated when they become available to the general public in a few weeks.
