ASUS PE6000G Edge AI System

ASUS IoT this week unveiled its new Edge AI system in the form of PE6000G, which is a highperformance AI computing platform for deep learning and inference in edge applications. ASUS PE6000G supports up to 64GB ECC/nonECC DDR5 4800 SDRAM, four 2.5″ SSDs, and one each of M.2 M (NVMe) key, M.2 B (5G NR) key and M.2 E key .(WiFi 6). It also provides ample connectivity with a full range of common I/O ports, as well as supporting the latest fullheight and length graphics cards, enabling realtime inference and AI transfer to the edge.

“When processing huge datasets, sudden bursts of current undermine the stability of the system, and processing at extreme temperatures or unstable voltages can exacerbate the situation. The PE6000G series devices combine reliable thermal and power solutions to mitigate circumstances that can lead to problems or even system failure, ensuring maximum uptime. The optimized thermal design ensures reliable and faulttolerant operation from -20°C to 60°C.

The PE6000G series is also ideal for automotive environments due to its wide power supply range from 8 to 48 VDC, including builtin ignition power control, as well as power control capability and rugged mechanical design. In particular, the chassis construction complies with the military standard MILSTD 810H and is designed to withstand shock and vibration. In fact, the PE6000G can withstand strong vibrations, making it ideal for applications such as machine vision, AIbased factory automation, intelligent video analytics (IVA), and harsher environments such as roadside devices (RSUs), autonomous vehicles, and more. .
