In recent days, communication around the long-awaited Atomic Heart has only accelerated. While we were recently able to enjoy a 14-minute gameplay video, now the developer is providing some details about the game’s performance.
Other definition in dungeons and open world
It was through Twitter that Mundfish spoke out about the frame rate and the determination that we would have to wait for the game to come out on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Indeed, a social media user asked the developer if the game would shoot at 1440p 60 FPS, to which the studio gave quite unexpected answer.
Indeed, FPS will benefit from a “solid” 60 FPS with the added bonus of 4K resolution in dungeons, while the open world will of course offer 60 FPS performance, but this time in dynamic 4K. Obviously, this only applies to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Unfortunately, the performance of the Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro is not yet known. Of course, on a PC, everything will depend on your machine.
You won’t have to wait long to enjoy the beautiful visuals that Atomic Heart will offer with a controller in hand as the game is scheduled for February 21st. It will arrive right on the day of its release on Xbox Game Pass.
