After a very graphic and relaxing Sand, the Epic Games Store is changing its tune to offer us something more energetic and rhythmic! If you love free video games, don’t delay because this offer ends tomorrow at 5:00 PM as part of the Epic Games Store Advent Calendar event.

The perfect game for those who were hoping for a completely stupid Christmas release.

The Epic Games Store has been giving away gifts for five days now to players who never mind a free game addition to their library. Like a video game advent calendar, the door opens every day to reveal one of the little gifts chosen by the creators of Fortnite. Today and just under 24 hours, Them’s Fightin’ Herds is available to players for free. Forget jocks and fighters with beefy muscles or unique style, here you control adorable animals designed by famous cartoon producer Lauren Faust, who especially worked on The Powerpuff Girls!

Released on May 1st, 2020, Them’s Fightin’ Herds brings us an exquisite fighting game that packs the essentials and promises a good release this holiday season with the ability to organize duels both locally and online. If you want to break in before entering the arena, there are built-in tutorial modes, tutorials, and of course a story mode to practice. Whatever the case, this wacky and unbridled aspect, backed up by fast-paced music, caused a stir on Steam because its ratings topped out with a total of 2623 reviews for a 93% satisfaction score!

Advent calendar with video games

This is a tradition that the Epic Games Store has been keeping alive for several years now. Due to the free games that the store offers throughout the year, the holiday season is the peak of this initiative. From December 15 to January 15, the platform provides one game per day for download. So today it’s Them’s Fightin’ Herds, and that’s until another one takes its place, which is tomorrow from 17:00. The clues are left in the image opposite, we’re letting you scratch your head to find out what game will be on offer tomorrow: should you look for this mysterious helmet?

While some may be skeptical to see such generosity in this gesture, arguing that the games on offer are far from the quality of some blockbusters, it should be noted that great games have been offered in the past. In particular, this applies to the game Prey, developed by the Arkane Austin studio (currently developing Redfall for Microsoft), as well as the game Control. Either way, this is the perfect option for gamers looking for new games without going broke as the holidays approach.

Mining and control.
