Game News Battlefield 2042: DICE Reveals Open Beta Dates!
Published on 9/28/2021 9:24 PM
About two weeks ago, it was bad news from the developers at DICE, who indicated that Battlefield 2042 was postponed from October 22 to November 19. Today, the news is better, with the announcement of the dates of the open beta.
Battlefield 2042, its tornadoes and zip lines over buildings, will therefore be tackled October 6-9, with a bit of subtlety. From October 6 to 7, access will be open to players who have reserved the title or are subscribed to EA Play. Then all players will be invited to release the title on all platforms. They will be able to compete in Orbital with “a diverse selection of specialists, weapons and advanced vehicles.” Those wishing to participate in the open beta will be able to preload the game data starting October 5 at 8am French time on the PC and at 9am on the console.
In the meantime, you can enjoy the trailer dedicated to this open beta, full of game fragments, explosions and, of course, tornadoes. As a reminder, this episode of the Battlefield license will lack a single-player campaign to focus on large-scale multiplayer battles.
