Deathloop was released on September 14 for PC and PlayStation 5, and we know a lot of people have liked it. But with today’s struggles to get a next-gen console from Sony, some have had to take their troubles with patience, like Jason Kelley.
If that name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the voice actor for Colt, Deathloop’s main character. Shortly after the release of the title, he revealed that he did not have a PlayStation 5 and therefore could not enjoy Deathloop. One thing Bethesda veteran Pete Hines heard who responded on his Twitter:
“I can probably help you find a PS5 so you can play.” You deserve the opportunity to play as Colt and enjoy your own incredible performance. :-) “
The story could have ended there. But during the JumpCut PLAY podcast, marked by the participation of Jason Kelley, the actor confided that these words were not empty words:
“Bethesda just notified me that a PS5 is available and that they will ship it to me, along with the game. [Deathloop] what’s more. Then I’m going to be able to play the game … I’m super excited. “
It is a funny story for several reasons. The first is that it shows that even people involved in the video game industry are struggling to get their hands on next-gen consoles and the second is that it’s fun to see a Microsoft company helping someone get a Sony console.
And you, have you played Deathloop? What do you think about that?
