Rumor has it that Red Fall, the long-awaited first-person shooter from Bethesda and Arkane Studios (of Dishonored fame), will release next year with a slight delay. To be clear, the game never had an official release date, which rules out the possibility of an official delay.

In May of this year, Bethesda announced that the launch of Redfall and Starfield had been delayed until the first half of 2023. Many have speculated that Redfall might arrive in March. If current rumors prove accurate, this release target will be pushed back six weeks to May 2023. The source of this speculation is an industry tweet inside Okami Games, as reported by the Trigger d’ app. Again, it’s worth reiterating that this is all speculation as far as we know until Bethesda announces an official release date.
Redfall release date update.
I heard it was pushed back internally by about 6 weeks. Currently aiming for release in early May.
Bad news, but I’m sure it’s for the best. https://t.co/JuytC5KxWw pic.twitter.com/PIsBaH24y3

Redfall is an open world co-op shooter that combines single player and multiplayer. One of the most anticipated Xbox games of 2023, along with Forza Motorsport and Starfield, Red Fall is set in the Massachusetts city of the same name, where a legion of vampires have blocked out the sun and sealed off the city from the outside world.
The game has been compared to Valve’s classic co-op survival shooter Left 4 Dead. Redfall will be an Xbox Game Pass release on the first day it finally releases.
