Announced some time ago, Beyond Good & Evil 2 has since left doubts. But, obviously, there is nothing to be afraid of: development continues.
It’s been a long time since Ubisoft announced a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil. This was in 2008.
Since then, players may have even allowed themselves to hesitate, no longer sure the game would ever come. I must say that the rumors about the cancellation helped a lot to think so, as did the silence that reigns around the software. Silence that is (very) a bit quiet today.
Ubisoft is looking for a Senior Game Animator
Judging by a very recent broadcast, the development is still relevant. What’s more, Ubisoft Barcelona made a job offer on this occasion. Indeed, the latter is currently looking for a senior game animator for this Beyond Good & Evil 2, described on the studio’s Twitter page as “the company’s most ambitious project yet.”
Take charge of animation quality and game system functionality in one of Ubisoft’s most ambitious projects to date.
Hopeful words, which, however, do not really improve the situation and may even become a source of more anxiety for the players, so they wonder how far and in what year “these ambitions” can go.
One thing’s for sure, we’ll have to wait. And perhaps by that time, the movie promised by Netflix will already have the opportunity to approach.
