Buying a TV for the Euro: the best promos and money-back offers –

Euro 2021 kicks off soon. The football tournament will start on June 11 and end on July 11, and will take place for the first time in 12 different countries. The opportunity for many fans of the round ball to renew their television and sound bar for more efficient equipment. This is good for them, because many promotions are popping up online. Amazon, Fnac, Darty, Cdiscount, Rue du commerce… all participate in the sporting event and it is possible to do good business, especially if you take advantage of a refund offer (ODR).

We have therefore compiled a list of the main ODRs, sorted by brand, and highlighted the best tips to help you make the right choice. This selection began at the same time as the French Days 2021 and will be updated with the offers that have caught our attention.

Current TV specials

Samsung Neo QLED 50 “at 1299 € instead of 1699 at Fnac (after ODR)

Samsung Neo QLED 50 “2021

The 50-inch Samsung Neo QLED benefits from a 4K LCD screen with a display frequency of 100 Hz. The main novelty of this range is located behind the panel which is equipped with Mini-Led. A technology making it possible to obtain an increased peak of luminosity while reducing energy consumption and the effects of blooming (luminous halo). The Korean brand has also developed a new One Connect box as well as a remote control that recharges thanks to a solar back panel for these televisions. They also work under Tizen, the manufacturer’s home interface, and are compatible with HDR10, HD10 + and HLG.

You will find televisions with much larger screen diagonals at Samsung and others, but at € 1,299, it’s hard to beat in terms of visual quality. Samsung’s Neo QLED benefits from an LCD panel with a Mini-Led backlighting system allowing a significant peak in brightness to be reached, and therefore, deep contrasts.

Samsung The Frame 65 “at 1599 € instead of 1999 at Fnac and Darty (after ODR)

Samsung The Frame 65LS03A 2021

Samsung is renewing its The Frame range in 2021. These are original 4K QLED TVs halfway between the TV and the digital frame. They also have the particularity of being thin, of being customizable with colored frames and of having a remote box, the OneConnect, making connections easier. If the image quality is still there, the changes are minimal enough to justify a renewal. The internal storage space is thus reduced from 500 MB to 6 GB, which eventually allows you to download more works of art for the Art mode, and the thickness is only 24.9 mm. However, if you are looking for a television dedicated to entertainment and at the same time design, The Frame could be for you.

You’re buying a TV to enjoy Euro 2021, sure, but there’s a good chance it will stay in your living room. The Samsung The Frame could therefore seduce you with its polished design, its finesse (24.9 mm) and of course its video performance. The 65-inch version benefits from a discount of 400 €, but you can also turn to the 55-inch version if you run out of space (be careful, because the refresh rate is only 60 Hz). This model is currently at € 1399 instead of € 1499 at Fnac and Darty (after ODR).

TCL C82 65 “at 1649 € instead of 1799 at Fnac (after ODR)

TCL C82 65 inch

The TCL C82 is the backbone of the brand. The television is equipped with a 4K QLED panel with Mini-Led backlighting, which provides better contrast and better managed brightness with very little light leakage (light halo) than with a conventional LCD screen. On the processing side, we note a fairly complete compatibility with current HDR standards: HDR10, HDR10 + HLG, Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ (only HDR10 + Adaptive is missing). The TV is also HDMI 2.1 compatible, which allows a refresh rate in 4K at 120 Hz, and works under Android TV. The audio part is entrusted to Onkyo and the icing on the cake: the C82 model has a 1080p wide-angle magnetic camera for making video calls.

Like the Samsung Neo QLED mentioned above, the TCL C82 television also benefits from a backlit LCD panel thanks to Mini-Led technology. A strong price, but still lower than the 65-inch version of the Neo QLED displayed at 2799 €.
