Call Of Duty plans for 2023 tease Puregamemedia

In its Q2 2022 earnings report, Activision stated, “Throughout the Call Of Duty ecosystem, teams are ready to support these launches with significant operations while continuing to develop new premium content planned for 2023 and beyond.

Jason Schreier tweeted: “In 2023, I expect new (premium) paid content for Modern Warfare 2, not a brand new Call of Duty. Treyarch is leading the next major game, which has been delayed until 2024, Bloomberg reported earlier this year. »

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release on October 28 and will likely boost interest in the series. If all goes according to plan, Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard is also expected to be completed next year after approval from various government regulators around the world.
