The Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of all Canadians from COVID-19, including ensuring access to safe and effective treatment as soon as it becomes available.

Filomena Tassi, Minister of Public Services and Procurement, today announced that the Government of Canada has received an initial shipment of 30,400 courses of PAXLOVID™, Pfizer’s oral antiviral treatment for COVID-19.
