Century: Age of Ashes: Playwing delays PS4 and PS5 release until the last minute

Bad news for players who were hoping to enjoy Century: Age of Ashes on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Although the game was supposed to launch today on Sony platforms, Playwing decided to delay its launch until the last minute.

New release date in the coming days?

As Studio Bordeaux explained on Twitter, “Achieving PlayStation certification – what we call gold – right after the release of Xbox One and the start of the first season is a difficult task. Therefore, we need a little more time to make sure that we meet the standard quality standards required to release the game on these two platforms. »

The developers add: “We know that not providing an exact release date can raise concerns, but rest assured, […] Our team is hard at work debugging the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions while improving the recently released Xbox One version. »

Note that, according to Playwing, “it’s only a matter of days” before a new release date is revealed for the game, which, despite this delay, should arrive this summer on Sony consoles. Note that the studio also announced that it is simultaneously working on balance issues and future content for Season 1.

In the meantime, remember that Century: Age of Ashes is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
