Public television ORF, which co-financed the feature film, issued a press release saying it “immediately refrains from producing and broadcasting works with Florian Teichtmeister” on the audiovisual group’s website.
Cinema chain Cineplexx, which operates 400 theaters in 12 countries, has also retired a work that was shown in last year’s Un Certain Regard selection at the Cannes Film Festival, according to ORF.
