(Washington) The girlfriend of Donald Trump Junior, the eldest son of President of the United States Donald Trump, was declared positive at COVID-19, reported on Friday New york times.
Kimberly Guilfoyle, a lawyer and former presenter for Fox News, is one of the main funders of President Trump’s campaign for re-election next November. She was at Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, Friday evening to attend the President’s speech and the July 4 National Day fireworks.
Tested positive after a routine examination with anyone likely to be in direct contact with the President, Mme Guilfoyle, 51, was immediately placed in solitary confinement, the New york times.
“She is fine, she will be tested again to check because she is asymptomatic,” another senior Trump campaign fundraiser, Sergio Gor, told the newspaper. “Donald Trump Junior has been tested negative, but as a precaution he also isolates himself and has canceled any public appearances,” he added.
According to New york times, Mme Guilfoyle did not travel on the President’s plane to Mount Rushmore. Donald Trump Junior, 42, and she plans to return to the east coast of the United States by road after the celebrations, the newspaper said, citing the couple’s entourage.
