COVID-19: 36 new cases in Northern Ontario | Coronavirus: Ontario

Public health units in Northern Ontario are reporting 36 new cases and 463 active cases of COVID-19.

10 new infections have also been reported in the Thunder Bay medical area, six of them in the small municipality of Greenstone.

The Porcupine region continues to be the worst-affected region in Northern Ontario, with 23 new infections and 348 active cases.

In terms of immunization, Northern Ontario currently has 65.7% of the eligible population immunized with at least one dose and 57.9% of the total population.
