COVID-19: 62 cases in Northern Ontario, including 49 in Porcupine

The Porcupine Health Unit continues to have the highest number of cases in northern Ontario, as the average number of cases per 100,000 population peaks in 7 days at 61.49 on Wednesday.

Vaccination overview

Northern Ontarians continue to get vaccinated. Immunization rates continue to rise in all parts of northern Ontario.

As of Wednesday, 492,525 doses of the vaccine had been administered, with 62.3% of adults in the northern regions receiving at least one dose and 55.3% of the total population receiving at least one dose.
