Covid-19: adolescents are also subject to the health pass

Starting tomorrow, young people between the ages of 12 and 17 must also present a health pass. On the eve of the implementation of the measure, the opinions of parents are divided. And what do you think?

A glance at the QR code before going to the cloakroom; from tomorrow it will be mandatory for certain adolescents who practice collective sports. Aais also to go to the restaurant, attend a game or spend some time in the pool. Children from 12 to 17 years old will be subject to the health pass as adults. In Martinique, this represents more than 34,500 young people.

It must be said that the vaccination rate for young people aged 12 to 17 is quite low in Martinique. At the end of September, 5,222 young people received a first injection. More than 3,800 have a complete vaccination schedule. This is a little over 10% of young people affected. It is always possible to perform a PCR or upstream antigen test to present a valid health pass. But the government has announced that these tests will no longer be reimbursed as of October 15.
