COVID-19: Biden Praises ‘Outstanding’ US Progress

WASHINGTON | US President Joe Biden on Tuesday praised the “exceptional progress” made in the United States in recent months in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We still have a long way to go (…) but we’ve made tremendous progress,” he said from the White House, referring to a marked decline in cases and deaths.

“It’s very simple: if you are vaccinated, you can do more things both indoors and outdoors,” he added, referring to the latest measures announced by health authorities to facilitate mask wearing.
