COVID-19: Biggest Growth in More Than a Month in Eastern Ontario

Since the last report, 3,700 more people have rolled up their sleeves to receive the first or second injection of one of the COVID-19 vaccines in Eastern Ontario. Since the start of the vaccination campaign, 247,686 doses have been administered in the region. Young people still lag behind in terms of vaccination coverage: only 58.4% of young people aged 20-29 received at least one dose, while this applies to 56.5% of young people under 20 years old. All older age groups, starting from 30 years old, predict vaccination coverage of at least 75% of people belonging to each category.
