The Colorado Avalanche had to cancel their morning training session on Wednesday, hours before their game against the Blues in St. Louis, after a positive case of coronavirus was discovered in their ranks the day before.
In a short statement, the organization concerned stated that the decision was taken as a preventive measure. The victim is in isolation and all other players or club staff have tested negative. To this day, the part planned for the evening is still on schedule.
Occupying the upper west end, the Avalanche is slated to take over from the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.
