(Mexico City) Mexico became the fourth country with the most deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday, ahead of Italy, according to a report by the AFP according to government sources.
“There are 299,750 confirmed cases of contamination and 35,006 deaths in Mexico,” Mexican health officials said on Twitter. Italy has 34,954 deaths from coronavirus on Sunday.
Mexico has recorded 4,482 new cases and 276 additional deaths in the past 24 hours, the source said.
The United States is at the top of the list of the most mourning countries on the planet with more than 135,000 deaths, followed by Brazil, the United Kingdom and since Sunday by Mexico.
