As a proportion of the population, excluding microstates, the country with the most new cases this week is Latvia (623 per 100,000 inhabitants) ahead of Serbia (598) and Georgia (585).

The United States has the highest number of daily deaths, 1,563 per day this week, ahead of Russia (967) and Mexico (350). Globally, daily deaths continue to decline (6,741 per day, -6%).
