US President Joe Biden tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday, the White House said.

Joe Biden tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday after testing positive twice. The 70-year-old leader remains in isolation pending a second negative test, his doctor said.

“The President continues to feel very good,” Kevin O’Connor wrote in a letter.

The first time he tested positive for Covid-19 was on July 21, Joe Biden tested negative, and then the positive rebounded on July 30.

Isolated at the White House for a week, the president is due to resume his travels soon. According to his official program, he must go to the US state of Kentucky, which has suffered from devastating floods.
