Covid-19 vaccination: who is affected by the booster dose?

DInce September 1, the Covid-19 vaccine booster campaign was launched. “The fifth wave is off to a good start,” government spokesman Gabriel Attal has said on several occasions. It’s a veritable race against time that begins as fears of hospital overload reappear. On average calculated in 7 days (which gives a more faithful view), the number of daily cases has almost doubled in a week: it was more than 17,000 on Saturday, compared to almost 9,500 the previous Saturday. This represents an increase of 81%. The timing of the third dose, or booster dose, is beginning to unfold.

And the rest ?

Those over 50 will be able to receive their third dose starting in early December.

As of December 15, the validity of the health pass for people over 65 years of age will be conditioned on this reminder, without which a negative PCR test will be necessary – carried out in the last 72 hours – to access a large number of places. public. According to the government spokesman, people with comorbidities are not affected by this deactivation of the pass for “legal and technical reasons.”
