Cryptotoilets, BTC Injections…: When the Industry Plays Mad Scientist – BeinCrypto

The crypto sector is always under attack from new technologies, even if it means going beyond certain limits. Three projects decided to use cryptography in a roundabout way.

When to generate cryptocurrency

Getting crypto while doing everyday activities seems to be the goal of many projects in the industry. But while recreation or sports is an opportunity to earn a few tokens in the middle of the action, Korean researcher Jo Jae Won decided to go further. He actually designed toilets capable of this function. Seemingly eco-friendly, it converts its users’ faeces into methane produced during anaerobic digestion.

Then each user of this invention called BeeVi gets paid in cryptocurrency. However, you should not hope to win BTC or ETH, since the Ggool token (FSM) was created specifically for this case. According to the project white paper, BeeVi is already operating at Ulsan University. Students who use it have the ability to reuse their FSMs in coffee and snack vending machines on campus. So creating a Cho Jae-won doesn’t let you get rich doing your own business, but it does make it easier for volunteers to budget for coffee.

From Bitcoin inwards

What if you could physically own BTC? This is an odd bet that the BitMouse project has made. The goal is simple: insert BTC inside the mouse. Several tokens are purchased by the community before being placed in a cold crypto wallet. The access key is then split and then each part is injected into a different mouse DNA sequence. Thus, it will bear the value of the BTC contained in the wallet created for this occasion. In other words: the higher the price of bitcoin, the more the mouse costs, just like our crypto wallet.

According to an explanatory document posted by the BitMouse team, the goal is for the original mouse to reproduce itself. Thus, all of its descendants will carry part of the wallet access key. They will then be auctioned off. But for the project, it’s not a question of getting rid of the animal to get the key: it needs to be protected in the same way as an ordinary work of art.

One bitcoin was split into several copies, but as soon as someone broke the sample to extract the genetic information and thus remove the BitMouse, the other copies lost their value.

At the moment, little information has been provided on the progress of the project. Therefore, it is impossible to know whether the project is still at the idea stage or is underway at the moment.

NFT… is no longer just a work of art

With all this technology around us, how not to feel alone? While crypto buildings are all the rage and non-fungible tokens can cover our walls, one project wants to add some warmth to the decor. Indeed, even if it means having NFTs at home, why not make them true companions? Alethea AI is already working on iNFT. In other words, digital works are combined with artificial intelligence.

Anyone can create their own non-fungible token on the Alethea AI website. From personality to voice, there are many options for creating your essence. Once created, it can be saved to the project’s metaverse, where the user can come and talk to and interact with it. It is also possible to participate in an intelligence battle with the NFT in question to receive a reward. A proposal that may seem intimidating at first glance, but probably hides a way to improve the site’s artificial intelligence. Which suggests that the Bored Ape Yacht Club and other famous people might one day be able to spontaneously strike up a conversation with us.
