UPDATE (04/06/2021, 3:30 p.m.)
We are awaiting a response from Blizzard to validate whether Canadians are eligible to participate in the test.
This week, a few lucky people will receive an invitation to participate in the “technical alpha” test of Diablo 2: Resurrected which will start on April 9. There is still time to register to receive the invitation, so we’ll show you how.

It is important to note that this test phase is aimed at single player mode and will not allow co-op play. The lucky ones will therefore have the chance to play the first two acts, including the fight against Duriel.
To register, simply go to the page of Diablo 2: Resurrected by following this link. This test is dedicated to PC gamers only.
According to Blizzard, a limited number of classes will be available, but there will be no level cap. Players will have the chance to test three classes: Barbarian, Amazon and Witch.
Blizzard has promised that an alpha multiplayer testing phase will take place later this year.
Announced last February, this remaster will be the opportunity to rediscover one of the most beloved chapters of the popular franchise Diablo. The structure of the game will be like that of the original version. The revitalization will mainly target the graphics and sound aspect of the game, with graphics in 4K and sound Dolby surround sound.
Blizzard still hasn’t announced a release date for Diablo 2: Resurrected, but did promise that it will not only be released on PC, but also Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
