He advocates methods such as process mapping, which details how a goal will be achieved, and gap analysis, which helps identify a company’s goal and performance gaps that need to be filled.

5. Prove you can be trusted

Craig York, CTO at Milton Keynes University Hospital, says building a high level of trust is critical for leaders who want to drive effective digital transformation.

According to him, effective digital transformation does not necessarily involve large-scale changes in the company. It can be as silly as collecting information in one place so that employees have a complete overview of key metrics (customer satisfaction ratings, requirements, etc.).
