Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had a postcredits scene

Doctor Strange has had many cameos in the multiverse of madness. But even with Mister Fantastic’s bigscreen debut in the Doctor Strange sequel, screenwriter Michael Waldron may have added more of the Fantastic Four to a postcredits scene that we’ve never seen before.

Below are spoilers for the Multiverse of Madness if you haven’t seen it yet.

In an interview with Empire, Waldron talked about one of the most talked about scenes in Multiverse of Madness. It will be the Illuminati, wrecked by the Scarlet Witch. The Illuminati of the multiverse included Reed Richards and Professor Xavier. Essentially, Richards has become spaghetti.

Waldron revealed how he wanted to add Reed Richards as a postcredits scene.

“I always wanted Reed Richards in this case,” Waldron said. “In my very first draft, I just wrote a label saying that the events of the film are being recorded and viewed by someone in the Baxter building and an outstretched hand appears in the frame to rewind it. Reed is probably my favorite Marvel comics character so I’ve always been keen to get him around here somewhere.”

Marvel movies and TV shows are known for their postcredits scenes. They tease upcoming films. The addition of Mister Fantastic as a postcredits teaser will definitely get people interested in seeing the Fantastic Four on the big screen again.
