As the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance on June 22 is fast approaching, Tuque Games announces that its game will be available upon launch in Xbox Game Pass and that a cooperative mode will be in the game soon.
Jeff Hattem, Studio Head and Creative Director at Tuque Games, announces the good news for action-RPG fans. The title will be available in the Xbox Game Pass catalog for consoles, PC and Cloud. It will also be cross-play, meaning that console players will be able to play in the same games with their PC counterparts.
I’m excited to announce that Dark Alliance will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Windows 10 PC, and phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release on the 22nd. June! The game will also support cross play on PC and consoles at launch!
The other news is that the developers are listening to the community, and confirm that a cooperative mode will be integrated into the game shortly after its release.
Following the launch of Dark Alliance, our top priority is to support 2-player split-screen co-op mode for Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Although no specific date is given yet, co-op mode should be available at the same time as the first free DLC this summer.
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance will offer a cooperative mode for up to 4 players with as many heroes to choose from among Drizzt, Catti-brie, Bruenor and Wulfgar. Of course, each one will be specialized in a different style of play with for example melee or long distance attack.
