Game news E3 2021: Shin Megami Tensei V Fills Up With Gameplay During Nintendo Treehouse

Announced even before the launch of the Switch, Shin Megami Tensei V finally revealed its release date during Nintendo Direct at E3 2021, set for November 12, 2021. In the process, Atlus’ RPG offered itself a gameplay presentation as part of the Nintendo Treehouse.

Born in 1987, the Megami Tensei franchise – of which Persona is a spin-off series – has already made a name for itself this year with the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei III, available on PC, PS4 and Switch. This time, it’s a brand new opus that will be offered by Atlus exclusively on Switch. Shin Megami Tensei V will place us in the shoes of a high school student propelled into another dimension, a post-apocalyptic Tokyo populated by angels and demons that we will have to face during turn-based combat. To gain the upper hand, it is essential to identify the elemental weaknesses of the enemies in order to chain actions. Other classic gameplay mechanics of the saga: the negotiation system to come to terms with the demons and make them allies who will fight with you and gain in power over the battles, or the possibility of merging your demons to obtain more powerful ones .

See you on November 12, 2021 to discover Shin Megami Tensei V on Nintendo Switch. As a reminder, the game will offer a French translation.
