E3 2021: The Outer Worlds 2 could be announced at Microsoft conference

Game news E3 2021: The Outer Worlds 2 could be announced at Microsoft conference

We already knew: The Outer Worlds is not just a game but now a franchise, to give birth to future unpublished episodes. We suspect that a second opus is in preparation and, according to Windows Central, it could well be the subject of a presentation at E3 2021.

With E3 2021 fast approaching, the number of rumors is seriously starting to escalate. Among them, some are more founded than others, like those of the very serious English-speaking site
Windows Central
who has just produced a substantial article, supported by various sources. This notably advances the games that could be present at E3 2021 such as, for example, Hellblade II … or The Outer Worlds 2.

In any case, this is what insider Jez Corden, who specializes in the Xbox universe, says: Obsidian Entertainment’s new title would therefore be presented at the Microsoft conference – logical, when we know that the Californian studio was bought by the Redmond firm.

We recall that it was officially said that The Outer Worlds would be a franchise with, at its expense, Microsoft as publisher. In addition, this second opus would have already entered the pre-production phase, as we announced to you last December. If announced at E3 2021 ago, Windows Central does not give details on its form (a trailer? A teaser? A simple logo?) But we should therefore be fixed within a few days.

Again, this is just hallway noise: it is therefore a question of not taking the information at face value.
