CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent announces 11 new people with COVID-19 on their territory on June 4. RCM Kamurasky recorded an increase of five cases.
It is followed by the MRC de Rivière-du-Loup with three new cases and the MRC des Basques with a two-fold increase. The case in an unidentified area has also been added to the daily toll for now.
CISSS currently has 60 active cases in Lower Saint Laurent. The number of deaths has not changed – 50 since the beginning of the crisis in March 2020. Currently, there are five hospitalizations at the Rimovsky hospital, including three people in the intensive care unit.

CISSS du Bass-Saint-Laurent believes that the outbreak at Manoir L’Héritage in Trois-Pistols is over. It affected 38 residents, 12 workers and 4 people died.
Another outbreak, at the Résidence Havre La Fontaine in the Riviere du Loup, affected 7 residents and one worker is considered stable. We are sorry to die.
The most recent data on the development of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours in Quebec shows 279 new cases and 4 new deaths. The Ministry of Health and Human Services reports 307 hospitalizations, 10 fewer than the day before, including 67 people in the intensive care unit, 1 fewer from the day before.
