Elon Musk assures him that he could launch his own smartphone and thus compete with Apple’s iPhone and models of other brands that run on Android. It’s all about twitter.
Apple and Google currently allow the Twitter app in the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android), making it easy for everyone to download. But what will happen on the day when two groups will withdraw it if they deem it necessary, in particular due to the lack of moderation? This is where the threat from Elon Musk comes in.
“Of course I hope it doesn’t come to that, but yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone,” the new Twitter boss wrote.

Given his vast resources and staff at his disposal, it would be unreasonable to think that Elon Musk is capable of competing with iPhone and Android smartphones. Another question is whether it will become popular enough to make a profit and attract the attention of the public to buy it.
Elon Musk made the controversial change after he bought Twitter for $44 billion, leading some advertisers to view the platform as a high-risk place to promote. Most recently, he announced his intention to carry out a mass amnesty of suspended accounts following a poll conducted by Twitter. He conducted a similar poll of his followers before confirming that the platform would reinstate former President Donald Trump.
