Elon Musk says he plans to focus on “good things” for humanity amid a series of scandals surrounding his personal life that have surfaced in recent months.

“The amount of attention I’ve been getting has gone supernova, which really sucks,” Musk tweeted on Monday, adding that he was ashamed that “even minor articles” about him are going viral.

“I will do my best to focus on things that are good for civilization,” Musk wrote.

While it’s unclear if Musk’s post meant the billionaire was planning a social media break, in June he silenced him on Twitter for more than a week before returning to the platform with a photo of him and his children with Pope Francis.

The past few months have been hectic for Musk’s personal life.

On Sunday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Musk had a brief fling with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google co-founder and Tesla investor Sergey Brin. According to The Journal, this led to Shanahan and Brin’s divorce in January and led to the end of Musk’s friendship with Brin.

On Sunday, Musk vehemently denied the affair, tweeting that he and Brin are still friends and lamenting that he “hadn’t had sex in ages.” He also sent a photo of himself and Brin to the New York Post, claiming it was taken at a recent party.

Last November, Musk secretly gave birth to twins with one of his top executives, Siobhan Zilis, according to insider Julia Black earlier this month.

In May, Insider also reported that SpaceX Musk paid the company’s flight attendant $250,000 to keep her quiet after she claimed that Musk opened up to her during a massage on board his plane and offered to have sex with her.

Tesla representatives did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
