Ferarri has unveiled its first virtual concept car, the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, which was developed for the Gran Turismo video game series.
Ferrari will be demonstrating the fullsize version of the car at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from December 15, 2022 to March 2023.
The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, a single seater with closed wheels, is the first Ferrari concept car designed specifically for the world of virtual motorsport. The car’s design is rooted in Maranello’s unparalleled racing tradition, and the number 75 on its sides reflects this noble heritage. Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo launch actually brings 75th celebrating the anniversary when the brand’s first ever racing car, the 125 S, drove out of the iconic factory gates in 1947, before the official closure.
To mark the occasion, this model not only marks an important step for Ferrari in a virtual environment where it will inspire new generations of passionate drivers and enthusiasts, but also redefines the company’s stylistic language. It represents a futuristic design manifesto for Ferrari road and racing cars, embodying the ultimate expression of formal beauty and innovation, and providing a boost to both engineers and drivers (real and virtual) of tomorrow.
