Fintech: LYZI Drives Crypto Adoption in Retail

LYZI enters the retail market as a revolution in payment solutions. This solution was born from the merger of a cryptocurrency payment application and a blockchain loyalty application.

LYZI is an application that integrates crypto asset management and a buy/sell wallet, as well as a crypto payment function. Based on Tezos technology, a public and energy efficient blockchain, LYZI relied on Nomadic Labs, Tezos blockchain experts, to get the most out of decentralized technology.

A variety of financial services in an application accessible to everyone

LYZI is intended for the general public and allows payments in cryptocurrencies, at points of sale and online. To date, you can pay with 21 crypto-assets, including bitcoin, ether, litecoin, avalanche, yon, tez.

Currently, it is difficult for a merchant to accept payments in cryptocurrencies given the price volatility. LYZI solves this problem by offering daily refunds in local currency directly to the seller’s account for free.

True to its origins, LYZI is also a loyalty 3.0 service, allowing brands to engage their consumers in WEB 3 (NFT, interoperability of loyalty points from one store to another, etc.) by allowing the exchange, donation, conversion and payment of loyalty points. .

Finally, LYZI offers 1% to 8% cashback on all cryptocurrency purchases with affiliated companies and brands. This cashback is 100% funded by the app and not by brands, as is common with its cryptocurrency, the $EAZY token.

Beaugrenelle Paris, the first major event in the shopping center sector from 2 to 30 June.

To make the app relevant to everyone, LYZI will present its universe in a pop-up store in Beaujrenelle, a department store in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.

During June, Parisians will be able to:

• Buy Beaugrenelle Center Gift Cards in Cryptocurrency and receive a 10% bonus offered by Beaugrenelle Center and thus be able to shop in Cryptocurrency in 115 stores.

• Learn about paying in crypto with transaction partner brands.

• Learn how to increase your purchasing power with cashback.

Vision: achieve mass adoption

While 76% of the French have already heard of cryptocurrencies, only 8% have already invested and almost one in two has not done so due to a lack of knowledge about how cryptocurrencies work.

LYZI aims to be the number 1 WEB 3 financial services solution for the general public with a unique mission: to accelerate the democratization of crypto assets on a global scale to make them accessible and useful to all.

“Our goal is to simplify the use of crypto assets and all decentralized financial services through a set of accessible, engaging and interactive products. We are convinced that blockchain should be an indispensable component of the financial and retail ecosystem. We already have 1,500 connected points of sale in pre-marketing,” clarifies Damien Patouro, CEO of LYZI.

“When Nomadic Labs was approached to provide their expertise, we were immediately fascinated by LYZI’s mission to make access to cryptocurrencies concrete for as many people as possible. In addition, the Tezos blockchain, which combines technical efficiency with environmental responsibility, perfectly matches the expectations and challenges of tomorrow for consumers and retail players.” emphasizes Hadrien Zera, Managing Director of Nomadic Labs.

The Lyzi solution is based on the service provider ZEBITEX, a subsidiary of the DIGITAL SERVICE group established in 2016. It is a French exchange platform, regulated in France and Europe, that allows you to open a payment account for individuals and professionals. Launched in 2018, it is both an AMF-registered PSAN under E2021-012 and a CSSF PSP agent. To date, it has over 25 cryptocurrencies and predicts a transaction volume of $1 billion in 2022.
