Four hours is enough to calibrate a PCIe 6.0 link.

Tektronix partnered with Anristu to develop a PCIe 6.0 receiver test solution recently recommended by PCI-SIG. This solution combines the former’s DPO70000SX oscilloscope and the latter’s MP1900A bit error rate tester in an automated eye diagram calibration process. According to the manufacturers, a full calibration (including jitter and noise) of a 64 GT/s short and long channel receiver can be completed in as little as four hours. In particular, Synopsys used it to develop their IP PCIe 6.0.
