Gamescom: announcements of Europe’s largest video game trade show

We’ve been waiting for this for three years. After Summer Game Fest (replacing E3) which played the event card again 100% online last June as a health precaution, the vast world of video games will finally come together in physics at the end of August 2022 in Cologne. Germany. . The venue will, of course, be Gamescom, Europe’s largest video game trade show, which is returning to its usual home at the Cologne Fair for the first time since 2019.

Les Numériques and Gamekult will be on site to bring you all the latest news from the show. While Gamescom usually has fewer major announcements than E3/Summer Game Fest, it’s a fair where you can get plenty of playable demos of upcoming games for the end of the year and early next. It is also an event where many manufacturers of gaming equipment and accessories (headphones, screens, components, etc.) take part. Therefore, we can offer you a lot of advice on both software and hardware.

What’s more, before the event, the inevitable Geoff Keighley will offer Opening Night Live, a two-hour conference that will showcase some of the show’s event-driven games in detail. It will air live on Gamekult’s Twitch channel on Tuesday, August 23 at 8 pm KST.
