Genshin Impact will be adapted as an anime!

Adapting video games into anime is a recurring thing. Recently Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which was the subject of this. He even got off with high marks from the audience. This time it’s the turn of the free-to-play Genshin Impact. Animation was entrusted to Ufotable and HoYoverse studios.

Information to remember

The information was leaked to Twitter. Mobile game Genshin Impact will be adapted as an anime. At the moment, neither the official name of the anime nor its probable release date is known. Fans were still bombarded with the official trailer and image. In the trailer, we have shots that are colorful, airy and full of sweetness. While this trailer doesn’t reveal anything about the future storyline, it is a dive into the vast universe of Genshin Impact.

As for the image, the twins Lumin and Ether are shown for the first time. In the mobile game, they are separated. Their reunion is the stake of the game. Paimon, Ninguang, Zhongli, Xiangling, Tartaglia, and Xiao are with them.

Ufotable comes to the fore

Two studios will be collaborating for this adaptation. These are HoYoverse, the Chinese studio that developed the mobile game, and the Japanese studio Ufotable. The latter is known for its excellent animations, including Demon Slayer and Fate/Zero. Moreover, the work on the game is not the first for Ufotable. The studio has already made its mark with Tales of Zestiria the X and God Eater.

Genshin Impact: From Video Game to Anime

The free-to-play Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2020. It quickly became one of the most profitable mobile games in the world. His goal is to reunite the twins separated by the Unknown God, as well as the Seven Archons. By the end of this month, the game will celebrate its second anniversary. On this occasion, players will be eligible for some new features. First, they will have access to a new part of the Genshin Impact universe. Three new playable characters will then be available. This is Cino, Candice and Neela.
