Global crash at Microsoft: Access to multiple services is broken

PSeveral Microsoft services, including the Teams collaboration tool or Outlook messaging, were unavailable Wednesday morning globally due to outages that are still under investigation, the US group said on Twitter.

“We’re investigating issues that affect multiple Microsoft 365 services,” one Microsoft service account tweeted at 8:31 AM BST.

And on the social network, many users around the world complained that they could not access their usual tools. “I have a task due in half an hour in Teams and the servers in India are down. Please do something,” wrote one user.

Downdetector reported incidents in the US and Europe for several other Microsoft-owned services, from the Xbox Live gaming platform to the social networking site LinkedIn. Contacted, the group did not respond to AFP inquiries on Wednesday.
